Hi peoples! 'Tis I, Bugsy, The Bugster, Bugsy Boy, Bugseroo, The Mancat of All Mancats (okay, so I made up that last one
But first let me digress for a moment...for those new to the bloggie since November, you may not be aware of why I only have one eye. Rather than go through the whole story again, you may want to read this summary of the medical dramas I went through last year, and right here is my last visit to Dr. Cancer Vet in early-mid November. Go ahead, I'll wait...
Okay, back to the current story, so on Tuesday I went back to Dr. Cancer Vet for my 4-month check-up -- that is, 4 months since my last radiation treatment. He'd previously said that after this one, he'd probably want to do a CT scan in another two months, to really check things out. But at Tuesday's visit, he said that there's "no evidence of tumor recurrence or metastasis to the regional lymph nodes." Now I can't say I know what all those words mean, but Dr. Cancer Vet and The Mommy both said it means all good things. AND....AND!!!!...not only do I not have to have a CT scan in 2 months, I now don't have to go back for SIX, yes SIX, that's right SIX WHOLE MONTHS! Woot!!
So I'm really thankful for such a good result from my icky visit to Dr. Cancer Vet. Thank you Dr. Cancer Vet man, and thank you, The Mommy, for loving me so much that you make sure I'm being taken care of and getting all better.
Love,
