Sorry we're so late with our Purrfurmance Review of The Mommy, but we wanted to be fair and give her a chance to make up for a somewhat dismal job the first half of this very month due to "computer problems"
(like we believe that ol' excuse ). It sure wasn't the most opportune time for her to slack off!
So, let's get this show on the road, shall we?
Review of: The Mommy
Date: November 29, 2009

Quantity of Output: Has your purrson posted to your blog daily to give you maximum exposure world wide and make you famous
Well, the first two weeks of THIS month were almost completely silent, with only a couple of posts. Some sort of "computer problem", she said. Yeah, sure. But we gotta say, we did see her futzing around with it a lot those couple of weeks and saying some norty words (we had to cover Ziggy's ears, he's entirely too young for that!), so maybe it was the truth.
And other than that, she's been pretty good about making our posts for us almost every day since we started blogging back at the beginning of June (almost 6 months!), only skipping a day here and there when we were too tired to dictate anything. (She's slacked off a bit the past few weeks on helping us visit our friends daily, though, so that needs some improvement.)
We'll give her 3 paws for this category, notwithstanding earlier this month.
Quality of Output: are you, as snoopervisor, satisfied with your purrsons choice of photos, words: the creativity, imagination, truth, fun and general interest in your postings
We think The Mommy is usually pretty good about choosing funny photos to post, and nothing too terribly embarrassing. Of course, since we help with that, what would you expect? Sometimes she gets a little lazy, though, and just goes for the easy "cute" shot. She also gets a little wordy sometimes, too, and deviates from our careful dictation.
2.5 paws here, we think.
Client Pawticipation: does your purrson provide sufficient ways for your fans to contact you and for you to contact them
We have an email address of our very own, posted in our sidebar for our friends to see, and we can be (and have been) directly contacted in reply to comments we leave on their bloggies as well. We don't have facebook or twitter but honestly, we sometimes do have a hard enough time keeping up with all the blogs so we think we're better off not spreading things too thin.
4 paws here for the email address and knowing our limitations.
Pawticipation (Part II): does your purrson allow you to take part in fun blog world special events, parties, contest and more
We've taken part in many events and parties since we started blogging in June, including International Box Day, World Cat Day, the Hams of the Werld Tour, entries into the Nude Calendar Cats, Meow Like a Pirate Day, Sweet Praline's Slumber Party, and more, and gone to many birthday and gotcha day parties. We haven't entered many contests though, mostly because The Mommy is pretty lame-o when it comes to graphics that take much creativity.
This is a tough one to grade...we've done a lot, but we've also missed a lot.
2.5 will have to do here, and we expect better in the coming year...
Client Satisfaction: are your friends purringly contented with what they see and read on your blog
We usually have between 20-30 comments per post most days, although our visitor count is higher. But at least we do have a regular group that comes back again and again and comments, so we guess that means they like us and we're doing something right.
3.5 here, because she's obviously doing something good, but there's also room to get better.
Overall Rating and comments and suggestions for improvement (in your own words)
Let's see...that would make the overall score...a 3.1, hm? That sounds about right. The Mommy does a pretty good job with our bloggie, we think. She just needs to be a bit more consistent with helping us visit our friends, maybe be a bit more creative with photos and not so wordy in the posts, and let us do more events and contests.
And more stinky goodness. That's always helpful.
