I was taking a nice nap on the couch one evening and was interrupted by something (probably The Mommy) and ended up down on the floor. I was able to resume my nap shortly thereafter, and I thought I would share the proper steps for preparing yourself for the resumption of an interrupted nap just in case this ever happens to you.
First, a good stretch always helps to work out any kinks from having been curled up in one position for too long.
A robust yawn gets the blood flowing again, and loosens up your jaws.
Finally, just curl right back up and get back to napping, even if you're now in the middle of the floor pathway. After all, you're most important and your beauty sleep is vital.
