A couple of weeks ago on a Saturday, The Mommy was sitting at the computer doing something meaningless (The Mommy sez: Uh Callie, I was helping your brother Bugsy do his blog post, that's not meaningless...) so I thought I would brighten her day by getting up in her lap and giving her a wondrous Callie Look and Smile.
Then the next day, I was lazing about in a sunbeam, snoozing. The Mommy woke me up when she wandered by, then compounded her mistake by grabbing the flashy box thing. *Sigh* It never ends...
It's okay, Mommy, I forgive you.
Now, a few Wednesdays ago, we posted a Wordless Wednesday post of me and Pixie sniffing at each other. It kinda looked like a cute little smooch between friends. Since it was Wordless Wednesday, we couldn't really 'splain any further, so it was natural that you guys would take it the wrong way. And apparently most of you missed, or didn't understand, the label that said something about aliens taking over the cats. See, me and Pixie don't much get along. (Then again, Pixie's such a pest, he doesn't get along with any of us very much, 'cause he's always picking on us!) If you saw his two videos a couple of weeks ago, you saw how in one of them, he walked over and started picking on me for no reason whatsoever! Hmph.
So anyway, this next photo shows how it really is...he makes like he's being nice by giving me a lick or two, but the Smacky Paw of Doom is coming on the other side where I can't see it!
The trauma of living through that again has quite done me in. I must go recover now.

Hi Callie we know that smack of doom....been there done it and rec'd it many times. My feline sis, Lucy, is owned by my Dad's brother,we don't get along either.....truth be known Madi thinks she is the only FELINE in the world....

We know little brothers can be pests, no matter how cute they are! Tasha says Franklin is always trying to smack her too. She won't let him get close enough to lick her, but Dobby says he knows what you mean about supposed "friendly" licking. Franklin's licks almost always turns into the bitey.
We start our with nice cleansing licks and end up with the smacky paw! You are beautiful in the sunshine!

Oh the Smack of Doom...David cuddles up to Krishna, gives her a firm lick-up about the face and then grabs her and kicks her entire body. It's the sweet and sour of kitty love!
Oh Callie, you are such a pretty girl. And that smacky paw is just rude - I have seen that happen in my house too. I always tell whoever does it to stop being a jerk, but it keeps on happening. I think that it is unwritten - the smacky paw must always exist. Nature abhors a smacky paw vacuum.
