A few seconds after the stalking photo from yesterday, here I was taking a little sniff:
And then, I gave him a little love whap -- it was just like counting coup!
While there is no photographic evidence of exactly what happened next, I maintain that I escaped unharmed and without Bugsy getting a paw on me.
This photo of Bugsy just a few minutes later does show he was startled awake by my whap, but was still in pretty much the same comfy position:
So I obviously didn't do him any real harm...no big pouncing attack, but no cuddles either!
PS -- yes, we're letting The Mommy pimp her blog again; today it's Texas sunsets...

Poor Bugsy awakened from his nap. But we can understand the joy of cuddling so we understand.
And tell your mom we love her other blog - we haven't commented because of our attempts to get caught up with all the kitties and doggies, but we do read it in our reader - the pics are always pretty (unlike the view out the window here!)
Luckily Bugsy looks so comfortable he was probably back to sleep in no time.
