Wednesday Window Seats

The windowsills in our windows are very skinny. We can sit in them but can't really lay down for any length of time - definitely not good for napping or extended snoopervising. So The Mommy installed window seats in two back windows and one front window. The front window gets sun in the morning and the back windows get it through the afternoon and evening. We all love laying on them, but are pretty good about sharing (gets kinda warm after awhile in the back windows).

Most of the time we only fight for space if the back windows get opened when the weather is nice (front window never gets opened, the screen is damaged) -- and that doesn't happen too often 'cuz we go so quickly from too cool to too hot and vice versa and don't get enough "just right" weather for that!

So today is Wednesday Window Seats day to show us off on our window seats...

Aren't window seats pawsome!!!

When our house was built, mom made sure to make the window sills kitty-sized. She thought it would keep us off the furniture and counters.... not quite, but we do love them when the windows are open!

It is good to have window seats. Our window sills are skinny too but mum has put our cat trees there so we can snoopervise and sunbathe, umm, make that watch the rain.

We have skinny window ledges too but Mom put tables and stuff under them so we have a place to sit. You have great window seats! Lucky kitties!

I love your window seats. Are they something your mommy lady bought or something she made herself? They are really cool.

Gee, that looks good. But at our house there is no room at the windows. But trees are nice too.

Those window seats look comfy! I have large windowsills, but I think I need a nice fuzzy covering like on your seats!

Those are nice seats, guys! My Assistant Boss Karen joked one day about having extra-deep sills in the library. . . she said they were just waiting for a Cat to move in and enjoy them! Aren't our people thoughtful?
